The HELiOS® family of liquid oxygen reservoirs sets the standard for efficiency, quality and reliability for long-term oxygen therapy. HELiOS portable units are specifically designed for use with HELiOS reservoirs. The HELiOS Personal Oxygen System is key to cost-efficient care for ambulatory patients. The portable is filled from the reservoir and can also be connected to it during sleep or rest. The HELiOS Liquid Oxygen Reservoir is available in two sizes (H36 and H46). The high-capacity, low-loss design allows the reservoir to last up to 6 weeks between refills—reducing oxygen deliveries to as few as eight per year.
A new addition to the Puritan Bennett® HELiOS® liquid oxygen product line, the HELiOS Marathon™ Portable Oxygen Unit lets patients stay out all day. The HELiOS Marathon portable unit lasts up to 20 hours between refills* yet weighs only 5.6 pounds fully filled. So whether it’s visiting friends and family, shopping, fishing or playing golf – patients can have long-lasting freedom without needing to refill their portable or bring along extra oxygen cylinders.
The HELiOS system provides the long-term oxygen patient with the freedom to do just about anything, all day long. Patients can return to a more active lifestyle without the encumbrance of bulky, heavy equipment and the bother of frequent refilling. The product weighs a mere 3.4 pounds filled and is so small that it is hardly noticeable. Duration of use is 10 hours at a flow setting of 2. Refills from the HELiOS reservoir take 40 seconds and are less frequent.
